Before building FOHLE, I started like most people – curious, skeptical, and completely new to crypto. But curiosity turned into conviction, and conviction led to action.

I’m Adria Roig, Founder and CEO of FOHLE Finance.

I’ve always been drawn to solving problems, especially when it means turning complexity into something simple and useful. Whether it’s in code or in life, I believe the best solutions are the ones that feel effortless. That same mindset is what led me to crypto.

Like many, my journey started with confusion and a healthy dose of skepticism. I heard the buzz, got curious, thought it might all be a scam – but I kept digging. Eventually, I bought my first crypto. Not to invest, but to test. I still remember it clearly: I deposited $50 into KuCoin, not to get rich, but to see if I could move it on-chain and explore what this technology could actually do.

That first $50 unlocked a rabbit hole: decentralized exchanges (DEXs), launchpads, lending platforms, real financial tools, decentralized and permissionless. Thousands of dApps built across blockchains that promised a new way of interacting with money.

I was hooked-not by the hype, but by the potential.

But there was one problem: using the technology was painfully hard.

Complex interfaces, endless jargon, and a user experience that felt like it was built for insiders only.

The interfaces were confusing. The risks were unclear. The user experience was terrible. It felt like tech built by engineers for engineers, insiders not for everyday people.

That’s when the idea behind FOHLE first started to take shape.

I didn’t rush into building. Before I spent years learning, working as a CTO and freelancer, contributing to other projects, and connecting with builders across the space. Over time, everything clicked. The timing felt right.

That’s when FOHLE was born.
